JOB COACH / EMPLOYMENT FACILITATOR (1) CAVAN AREA
(Full Time)
Monaghan Supported Employment CLG, under contract and funded by the
Department of Social Protection (DSP), is the Employability Service
for Cavan/Monaghan. This service assists people with a disability to
find paid employment by providing job coach support. We are now
seeking to recruit a fulltime Job Coach/Employment Facilitator on an
initial one year contract to provide this service in County Cavan from
a base in Cavan Town.
The successful candidate will be responsible to the Coordinator for
the identification and development of suitable employment
opportunities for clients with a disability in the open labour market
in the County Cavan area. They will also coach, support and develop
the client in their job role.
Candidates should possess a relevant qualification and/or experience
of working with people who have a disability. They should have a keen
interest in the delivery of supported employment coupled with
excellent interpersonal skills. They should have the ability to market
the Employability Service to employers and the business sector in
general. They should process good communication, ICT skills and the
ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.
